Some of you might have asked the question, what must I do to have a closer walk with the Lord, or please him more? Or what can I do more to do the works of God?

In the gospel of John 6:28-29, the answer to the question is very plain. The Bible said, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that you believe on him, whom he hath sent.”

At various times in scripture we see how Jesus healed the sick, fed the hunger, open the eyes of the blind and caused the lame to walk.  He is that same God today who has promised that if you ask anything in his name believing, you can have whatsoever you say.  Believing in the finished work of Jesus Christ on Calvary’s cross entitles you, as an heir of God, to have all things in Christ.  Jesus has done all the work for everything you need.  All you have to do is believe it!  Rest in the Sent One.

God Bless You,

Rev. Shirley M. Caldwell

Mother of the Church

We are so grateful to God to have seasoned mothers and fathers to help teach and show the young and old alike, how to live a Godly life, and not get weary in their well doing. God has blessed us to have many seniors between the ages of 70 to 98 years old.

At Wicomico Detention Center in Salisbury, Maryland and the Eastern Correctional Institute in Westover, Maryland. Pastor and Rev. Caldwell have shared the gospel of Jesus Christ to thousands over a 40 year period. Due to their anointed teaching and preaching, many have come to know Jesus in a personal way and have gone out to evangelize, preach and teach themselves. God is good!
Pastor and Rev. Caldwell, along with others minister at the Christian Shelter every Friday night. God has blessed and restored so many in this place over the years. The love of Jesus is shared, souls are saved and the anointing of the Holy Ghost delivers. The Spirit of the Lord God, over the years has taken so many from the pit to the palace.
