From the Pastor

Rose Point Freedom Church, Pastor Caldwell

Some of you might have asked the question, what must I do to have a closer walk with the Lord, or please him more? Or what can I do more to do the works of God?

In the gospel of John 6:28-29, the answer to the question is very plain. The Bible said, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that you believe on him, whom he hath sent.”

At various times in scripture we see how Jesus healed the sick, fed the hunger, open the eyes of the blind and caused the lame to walk.  He is that same God today who has promised that if you ask anything in his name believing, you can have whatsoever you say.  Believing in the finished work of Jesus Christ on Calvary’s cross entitles you, as an heir of God, to have all things in Christ.  Jesus has done all the work for everything you need.  All you have to do is believe it!  Rest in the Sent One.

God Bless You,

Rev. Shirley M. Caldwell

Its time we recognize who we are in the body of Christ. Today so many have fallen away from the faith, many are returning to there own vomit! As disgusting as this may sound, the reasons are almost as disturbing! I’ve heard that church is boring, or I’m just not feeling it anymore or that one statement that really shook me was, its time that I do what I want to do, putting me first for once!! Are you even aware that God sent His only Son to a world that hated Him, rejected Him, ridiculed Him and eventually killed Him.

He didn’t come to have a good time and party with all of His friends, He stated in Luke 2:49 that “He was about His Father’s Business” no time for the gossiping, backbiting, hating someone on the low or throwing shade, He had a very clear mission and that was to Save the Lost and Clear the debt of sin that we couldn’t afford to pay! Christ came to complete the works that man required so that we wouldn’t have to and guess what, He did!

My question to you is, why would you treat the very man that paid your debt, cleared your sins so disrespectful?Jesus didn’t sin, the word said He was found faultless but yet and still, He gave His life for you and me and you can’t even give Him a hour or two of your time? Did I hear you correctly, did you say you were Bored? How could you be bored when God has so many incredible things to teach and show you? Maybe if He cut your oxygen supply off for a few minutes, then maybe you’ll appreciate Him a lot more!

It shouldn’t take all of that, just learn who you are and what God delivered you from, whether it be addiction or psychological, just do an assessment over your life, from where you were to where you are today and I assure you, you can’t help but to give God the Praise!!! Young or old, we can still learn so much if we just listen and study God’s Word!

Be Renewed, Be Reborn, Be Blessed!
Our men’s ministry is one that supports, strengthen and guides the men of RPFC. We know that God continues to work victoriously in the lives of the men in our church. This ministry is about the men of God and is for the men of God!”If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him”. James 1:5

Oh give thanks unto the Lord for he is good and his mercy endures forever….I truly want to thank God for just one more chance to wake up in the land of the living ..in this day and time we see trouble on every side but God says in his word to cast every care on him cause he cares for us..if it concerns us it also concerns God.  So take these things that are happening to the Lord in prayer and he will work it out.

The bible lets us know that all things work together for the good of them who love the Lord and are called According to his purpose. .so we are reminded to not fret ourselves cause of evil doers cause they shall soon be cut-off. .we the people government included Have to look to the hills from which comes our help and we know all our help comes from the Lord. With so much evil and confusion going on just continue to look up and know that your redemption is drawing nigh. …God bless you and may Heaven smile upon you…I love you all because God is love.

We are so grateful to God to have seasoned mothers and fathers to help teach and show the young and old alike, how to live a Godly life, and not get weary in their well doing. God has blessed us to have many seniors between the ages of 70 to 98 years old.

Are the missionaries who are busy gathering boxes of food, clothes, personal items, etc that are needed at the Homeless Shelter. This is distributed to them twice a month. Sis. Gale West is the President and Sis. Lorraine Norwood is the Vice President.

At Wicomico Detention Center in Salisbury, Maryland and the Eastern Correctional Institute in Westover, Maryland. Pastor and Rev. Caldwell have shared the gospel of Jesus Christ to thousands over a 30 year period. Due to their annointing teaching and preaching, many have come to know Jesus in a personal way and have gone out to evangelize, preach and teach themselves. God is good!

Pastor and Rev. Caldwell, along with others minister at the Christian Shelter every Friday night. God has blessed and restored so many in this place over the years. The love of Jesus is shared, souls are saved and the anointing of the Holy Ghost delivers. The Spirit of the Lord God, over the years has taken so many from the pit to the palace.
